Introduction
We are happy to present our conference on the languages and cultures of Calabria, a Southern region of Italy often overlooked by tourists, which is even more interesting for research! This event is part of a project that we, four students, are organizing as part of our Erasmus Mundus Master Program in Euroculture.
We aim to inform you about Calabria's heritage with the help of teachers who are specialized in, among others, minonty rights and linguistics. They helped us further have a fruitful discussion on the linguistic and cultural conditions of the region of Calabria. As international students from Italy, Greece, Taiwan, and the Netherlands, we believe that an international lens when focusing on Calabria can connect anyone to the various aspects to be discussed. Through this conference, we will present our online platform "dalettiecultureincalabria.com" created to restore and preserve Calabrian cultural and linguistic heritage.
